As the first movie of the Star Wars saga, a New Hope, is a brilliant start for beginner Star Wars fans.

This movie premiered in 1977 and has an outstanding storyline. Starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford [you might recognize him from the famous adventure movie Indiana Jones] as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as princess Leia Organa.

Rated as PG on Disney plus A New Hope is pretty tame. There are a few scenes in the movie that might frighten young viewers. Like when Luke finds his aunt and uncle’s skeletons beside their house, Darth Vader blowing up Alderaan and various starship pilots being blown up.

Soooo besides those slightly intense scenes I would say A New Hope is a super awesome movie!! Kid or parent I think you will really like this movie I am going to give Star Wars: A New Hope a full jar of pickles! I have a new hope that you will enjoy this movie.
